COVID-19

Updated: Apr 7, 2020

Due to this global issue we are facing (COVID-19) I thought I would keep an update on what the situation is due to ordering and shipping from my website (www.lrawalcollection.com). I am still open for business however I can't guarantee that the items will be delivered on time due to other rules that may occur over this period of uncertainty. Public Health England advise that people receiving parcels are not at risk of contracting the virus as they do not survive long on objects. I use Royal Mail service so it is better to check what their shipping regulations maybe during this course of time when provided with a tracking code after placing an order through www.lrawalcollection.com. Royal Mail will no longer use hand held devices and instead they will login customer's details by knocking on the door and delivering the parcel from a safe distance. For those that are self isolating or cannot attend to the door, Royal Mail will leave a 'Something for you' card, which will advise you to collect your item. This could be that you ask a friend or relative to collect your item from your local Royal Mail's Customer Service Point. To keep your mail secure Royal Mail will require a form of ID such as a full driving licence card or a passport with the 'Something for you card' whether it is you, a friend or relative collecting the parcel. I will closely monitor the situation regarding any postal issues. In the mean time I therefore can advice people to 1. Avoid close contact. 2. Wash your hands often. 3. Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth. 4. Cover coughs and sneezes. 5. Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces. Keep safe and keep well! Thank you for reading this content!
